With all the changes that COVID-19 has brought on, many doctor’s offices are quickly transitioning to offering telemedicine or telehealth services.

At Kansas City Direct Primary Care, though, we didn’t need to quickly transition!  We didn’t really need to do anything differently: we have always provided telehealth visits — via email, phone, or videoconference — as part of what we do on a regular basis.  Our whole goal is to make medicine as accessible as possible and to adapt to fit into anyone’s busy (or, as we’re currently experiencing, disrupted) lifestyle.

In addition to our flexibility in using different means for videoconference (think: Skype, Facetime, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Sesame, etc.), we are still offering limited in-person visits to those who are deemed by one of our doctors to need to be seen in person.  We understand that your health doesn’t fit into an algorithm, so we flex and adapt.  We are limiting in-person visits to only those who really, really need it — like for stitches, evaluations of abscesses, broken bones, etc. — so that we can keep everyone healthy and safe.

If you’re interested in getting your primary care at a doctor’s office that fits your life — pandemic or not! — check out our full explanation of our services and fees.  Or give us a call at 913-730-0331.  Or schedule a meet-and-greet with one of our physicians.  We are here to help you and provide the best possible healthcare, regardless of your circumstances.

Our model of primary care is flexible and adaptable — we can provide in-person visits, online telemedicine visits, phone visits, or just check in via email!
